This CAVE-like facility is a multi-purpose immersive facility
suitable for fully immersive individual experiences as well as
multi-person immersion and theater-like experiences. The front
screen is a 12' high, 25' wide rear-projected, stereo screen with an 8'
deep top-projected floor.
LANL RAVE
This design, created in collaboration with Dan Corr of Known
Associates, was inspired by the LANL RAVE (above) which is
10'x10'x20' and 6
MegaPixels and the USC Interactive Media Division Zemeckis Media
Lab (below) both also
designed and built by Dan.
USC Zemeckis Media Lab
* This facility to be
built for WorldScape Inc. has been approved for funding at $1.5M and
construction will begin this Fall.
